Hotel Galeb
Hotel Galeb
Galeb is the "I'd rather spend my money on restaurants" hotel. Simple, clean, recently renovated rooms in a prime seafront location. No pool, no spa, no fancy amenities — but your window looks out at the Adriatic and you're a 2-minute walk from everywhere. The name means "seagull" in Croatian, and like its namesake, it's practical and knows where the good stuff is. The attached restaurant does decent breakfast, and the bar terrace is a solid spot for an evening aperitif. The rooms on the upper floors with sea views are the move — the price difference from a courtyard room is minimal and the upgrade is significant. Best for: budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location over luxury.
