Ičići Beach

The pebble beach in neighboring Ičići has calmer water than Opatija proper — the bay is more sheltered here, which makes it ideal for families with small kids. There's actual parking nearby (a rarity on this coast), and several restaurants within a 2-minute walk. The water stays shallow for a good stretch before dropping off. Locals from Opatija drive the 5 minutes here when Slatina gets too packed.
