Open Air Theatre (Ljetna pozornica)

Built in 1898 during Opatija's Habsburg golden age, the Open Air Theatre (Ljetna pozornica) still hosts summer concerts and cultural events. The architecture alone is worth seeing — it's a beautiful example of that ornate Austro-Hungarian style that makes Opatija feel different from every other Croatian coastal town. Check the summer program; they get some surprisingly good acts.
